The article titled "Cover Picture: Three-dimensional printed biomimetic multilayer scaffolds coordinated with sleep-related small extracellular vesicles: A strategy for extracellular matrix homeostasis and macrophage polarization to enhance osteochondral..." discusses the incorporation of sleep-related small extracellular vesicles (MT-sEV) into 3D printed multilayer scaffolds for osteochondral regeneration. The scaffolds mimic the structure of native osteochondral tissue and the MT-sEV have been found to enhance cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, extracellular matrix deposition, and immune responses. The findings suggest that this approach holds promise as a therapeutic strategy for osteochondral defects.
