A model is proposed for describing a cathode layer of a glow gas discharge in the presence on a cathode of a dielectric oxide film, the thickness of which has different values on different sections of its surface. The influence is studied of the non-uniformity of the film thickness on the effective coefficient of the ion-electron emission as well as on the discharge characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
