Abstrakt: This article discusses two cases of blue-colored keratoelastoidosis marginalis-like lesions in middle-aged women. The first case involved a woman in her 40s who presented with bluish discoloration of the palms, joint pains, and stiffness. The second case was another woman in her 40s who had bluish discoloration of the palms and soles, along with backache and joint pains. Both cases were diagnosed with alkaptonuria, a rare metabolic disorder characterized by bluish discoloration of the skin and nails, as well as degenerative arthritis.
