Abstrakt: The role of a microcontroller-based robot has been carried out, which is a tool that basically serves to facilitate human work. The trash can collection robot using color sensors can be used by its users, namely the community to be able to help provide convenience to the cleanliness of the environment. The program used in the robot uses the C language that is processed in the CodeVision AVR application. The steps for completing the application in this study are designing programs, creating programs, conducting testing of robots, repairs and finally the process of improving the program. The program can be implemented on the condition that there is hardware that will be the output of the overall research results. With the successful design of the trash can Collection Robot using this color sensor, it can be used as a guide for technology users to add knowledge and participate in continuing the innovation of creating new useful technologies.
