A new report discusses research findings on the relationship between social identity and social integration, particularly in the case of migrating adults. The research, conducted by Jinan University, involved a meta-analysis of 33 studies from 2005-2020, with a total of 33,777 participants. The findings suggest that social identity can directly affect social integration without any moderators, challenging the usefulness of analyzing different aspects of social identity on social integration. This research provides valuable insights into the psychosocial development of migrants and highlights the importance of social identity formation. [Extracted from the article] |
