A recent study conducted by the University of Puget Sound examined family-centered planning interventions for families of children on the autism spectrum. The study found that coaching interventions with caregivers were effective in addressing both child and parent outcomes. These outcomes included individualized goals, caregiver sense of competence, occupational performance of children and mothers, and caregiver satisfaction.
