Abstrakt: This article explores the effect of nitrogen deficiency on nodule nitrogen fixation capacity (NFC) in soybean plants. The study found that nitrogen deficiency enhances the allocation of sucrose to nodules and phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to bacteroids, promoting nodule NFC. The research provides new insights into the development of leguminous crops that can adapt to varying nitrogen levels in the soil. The findings suggest that the GmNAS1/GmNAP1-GmNFYC10 module plays a crucial role in regulating nodule NFC under nitrogen-deficient conditions. [Extracted from the article]
