Abstrakt: A study conducted in Singapore examined medication adherence among patients with common medical conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, depression, and anxiety. The majority of participants self-managed their medications, but over half were nonadherent. Factors associated with nonadherence included age, being a homemaker, number of medications/supplements, and anxiety. Participants expressed a preference for interventions such as pillboxes and learning how to maintain medication lists. The study emphasizes the need for targeted interventions to address medication nonadherence in Singapore.
