Abstrakt: This article discusses the use of endoscopic formalin instillation as a treatment for chronic rectal proctopathy (CRP) resulting from pelvic radiotherapy. The study analyzed a database of patients referred for treatment with formalin instillation and found that the treatment was effective and safe. Patients experienced a reduction in symptoms and severity of CRP after undergoing a median of 2 treatment sessions.
