Abstrakt: This article provides a comprehensive systematic review, meta-analysis, and meta-regression on the efficacy and safety of endoscopic ultrasound-guided hepaticogastrostomy (EUS-HGS) for biliary obstruction (BO). The study included 68 studies with 3,292 patients, primarily focusing on malignant BO. The results showed high rates of technical and clinical success for EUS-HGS, with low rates of serious adverse events. The data also suggested that rates of adverse events have decreased over time, likely due to improved operator experience and technique. [Extracted from the article]
