Abstrakt: This article, titled "Endometriosis. Report of a case," discusses a case study of a 39-year-old woman who experienced intermittent diarrhea after discontinuing contraceptives. The woman underwent a colonoscopy, which revealed a protruding lesion with edematous and reddened mucosa in the sigma region of the colon. Biopsies were taken and confirmed the presence of intestinal endometriosis. Intestinal endometriosis is a rare condition with a variable clinical presentation, and colonoscopy is commonly used to diagnose it. The article emphasizes the importance of obtaining biopsies for a definitive diagnosis through anatomopathological study. [Extracted from the article]
