Abstrakt: This article examines the clinical and paraclinical aspects of esophagogastric junction outflow obstruction (EGJOO) and compares them to achalasia, a condition characterized by dysregulated esophageal motility. The study collected data from 70 patients, with 59 diagnosed with achalasia and 11 diagnosed with EGJOO. The findings suggest that while EGJOO and achalasia share symptomatic similarities, they may represent distinct entities rather than an early stage of achalasia. Further research is needed to better understand these conditions and develop tailored therapeutic approaches. [Extracted from the article]
