Abstrakt: This article discusses the medium and long-term outcomes of Per Rectal Endoscopic Myotomy (PREM) for Hirschsprung's disease. The study involved 16 patients who underwent PREM, with the majority experiencing symptoms from birth. The results showed that PREM was a safe and effective procedure, with improvements in stool frequency, laxative usage, and quality of life. The study also noted a low rate of adverse effects, with only one case of anal stenosis that was successfully treated. Overall, the findings suggest that PREM is a viable minimally invasive treatment option for short segment Hirschsprung's disease. [Extracted from the article]
