Abstrakt: This article, titled "The Plummer-Vinson syndrome: a Moroccan single center experience of 96 patients," provides a retrospective study of 96 patients diagnosed and treated with Plummer-Vinson syndrome (PVS) at the Ibn Sina hospital in Rabat, Morocco. The study found that PVS predominantly affects females, with dysphagia being the main symptom. All patients had iron-deficiency anemia, and endoscopic dilation was performed to treat the condition. The study also identified associations between PVS and autoimmune diseases, as well as a risk of squamous cell carcinoma. Regular monitoring and correction of anemia are important for preventing relapse. [Extracted from the article]
