Abstrakt: This article, titled "Full-thickness endoscopic resection of gastric stromal tumor: a step into the future," discusses a case study of a 63-year-old male patient who underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy as part of his pre-renal transplant evaluation. During the procedure, a 14x10mm antral heterogeneous hypoechoic subepithelial lesion was identified. Following the requirements of the transplant center, a non-tunnelled endoscopic full-thickness resection was performed, and the incision was closed with through-the-scope clips. The patient remained asymptomatic during a five-day hospital stay, and the histology revealed a low-grade gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) with no mitosis or necrosis. The article includes a video of the procedure. The authors of the article are F. Côrte-Real, N. Nunes, D. B. Moura, C. Chálim Rebelo, M. Flor De Lima, F. Taveira, M. P. Costa Santos, V.
