Abstrakt: This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, examines the completeness of screening colonoscopy reports in a national quality assurance program. The study analyzed written colonoscopy reports collected between 2020-2021 and assessed the presence of key performance measures (KPM) recommended by the European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. The results showed that overall, there was a high level of missing information in the documentation of KPM elements. The study did not find a specific pattern of high missingness in a particular specialty or setting, suggesting that report quality improvement initiatives should target all colonoscopy providers.
