Abstrakt: This article, titled "Band-assisted endoscopic mucosal resection of synchronic gastric and esophageal granular cell tumours," discusses the treatment options for granular cell tumors (GCT), which are uncommon soft tissue neoplasms that can occur in the gastrointestinal tract. The majority of GCTs have a benign course, but there have been rare cases of malignant GCTs. The article explores different treatment approaches, including a conservative attitude, and raises the question of whether endoscopic surveillance is necessary. It also highlights the challenges in diagnosing GCTs, as they can be misdiagnosed as neuroendocrine tumors. The article includes a video demonstrating the procedure. [Extracted from the article]
