Abstrakt: This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, describes a case study of a 58-year-old patient who had previously undergone laparoscopic fundus resection for a gastrointestinal tumor (GIST). The patient presented with a 3 cm subepithelial lesion at the anastomotic line in the fundus, which was not visible during endoscopy. The authors successfully removed the tumor through a submucosal tunnel and determined that it was a recurrence of the previous GIST. This case represents the first complete endoscopic removal of a GIST recurrence at the surgical site in the gastric fundus. [Extracted from the article]
