Abstrakt: This article, titled "Simple is Better: Endoscopic Treatment of Giant Gastric Bezoar," discusses the challenges of managing large gastric bezoars in endoscopy. The case presented involves a 66-year-old male with a 12 cm bezoar that was resistant to various treatment methods. An innovative approach was pursued, using underwater Holmium:YAG lithotripsy and a Jagwire guide loop through a polypectomy snare catheter. This technique successfully eliminated the bezoar over two sessions spaced two months apart. The authors report their experience and suggest that this approach may become the preferred choice for giant bezoar treatment due to its accessibility and reduced risk of complications.
