This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, evaluates the efficacy and safety of underwater endoscopic submucosal dissection (U-ESD) with water pressure method for colorectal neoplasms compared to conventional ESD (C-ESD). The study included 291 patients with 311 colorectal lesions and analyzed treatment results, en bloc resection rates, intraoperative perforation rates, delayed bleeding rates, tumor size, and procedure time. The findings indicate that U-ESD with water pressure method can shorten the procedure time for colorectal tumors. [Extracted from the article] |
