Abstrakt: This article discusses the medium-term oncological outcomes of endoscopic full-thickness resection (eFTR) for T1 colorectal cancer (CRC). eFTR is a minimally invasive diagnostic and potential therapeutic approach for smaller T1 CRCs. The study analyzed data from the Dutch prospective eFTR registry and found that eFTR had high rates of complete resection and low cancer recurrence rates over a median follow-up of 42 months. The findings suggest that eFTR is an efficient first-line treatment for T1 CRCs and allows for organ preservation in many patients. [Extracted from the article]
