This article from Street Machine magazine features the story of Dale Gridley and his restoration of a 1963 Chrysler AP5 Valiant. Despite not being a Mopar enthusiast, Gridley was drawn to the AP range of Valiants and purchased the AP5 sedan for $3000. The car, which had been parked since 1986, was in surprisingly good condition with original paint. Gridley installed a 426ci Dodge Hemi engine, replacing the original LA mill, and made various modifications to fit the engine into the car.
