Abstrakt: This article discusses a new method for synthesizing 5-dialkylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazoles, which are important in drug discovery. The method involves using tertiary amines as temporary masked secondary amines, allowing for the direct construction of these compounds in a one-pot manner. The research provides a more efficient and facile approach for synthesizing these compounds, which have potential therapeutic applications. The article also provides detailed information on the synthesis and characterization of various N,N-dialkylamino-substituted 1,2,4-oxadiazoles, as well as piperazine-linked 1,2,4-oxadiazoles. The research was conducted at Chiang Mai University in Thailand and is supported by the university. [Extracted from the article]
