Abstrakt: | A study conducted by researchers at Universite de Guyane in French Guiana analyzed honey samples from the French Guiana Atlantic coast to determine the botanical origin of the honey. The study focused on honey samples collected during the dry season and identified 51 pollen types from major plants visited by Africanized honey bees. The researchers found that Mimosa pudica was the most prevalent pollen type in many of the honeys analyzed. The study also noted significant variations in color and electrical conductivity among the French Guiana honeys.
