Mexican Social Security Institute Researchers Report on Findings in Rhabdomyosarcomas (CT and transthoracic echocardiographic findings of cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma in an adult: a case report).

Abstrakt:	A recent report published by researchers at the Mexican Social Security Institute highlights the case of a 30-year-old woman with a rare form of cancer called cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma. The tumor was detected in the left atrium of the heart using contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) and transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE). The patient required emergency cardiac surgery due to severe mitral stenosis and respiratory failure. This is the first reported case of a cardiac embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma in Mexico, and the imaging findings are provided for educational purposes. [Extracted from the article]
