Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the University of Girona in Spain evaluated nurses' perceptions of standardized care plans for chronic diseases in primary care settings. The study used a mixed-methods approach, including a questionnaire and a focus group, to gather data. The findings revealed that nurses had a positive assessment of the standardized care plans, particularly in terms of resources for motivational interviewing and care plans for prevalent chronic diseases. The study also identified key factors influencing the implementation of these plans, such as facilitators, barriers, motivators, and suggested improvements. The research highlights the need for additional time, motivation, enhanced IT infrastructure, and collaboration among primary care professionals to improve the implementation of standardized nursing care plans. Further research is recommended to assess the long-term impact of these plans on chronic patients. [Extracted from the article]
