A recent study conducted at the University Hospital of Ghent in Belgium examined the challenges faced by women living with epilepsy in Rwanda. The study investigated various aspects of epilepsy management, including demographics, treatment, contraception, pregnancy, and stigma. The research found that many women with epilepsy in Rwanda face difficulties in managing their condition and reproductive health. The study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy to address these challenges and improve epilepsy management and reproductive health outcomes for women with epilepsy in Rwanda.
