A recent study conducted at Gulf Medical University in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, examined the influence of medication factors on fall risk assessment in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The study found that medication factors significantly affected the interpretation of fall risk, particularly in patients aged 46-60 years and over 60 years. However, gender and duration of dialysis did not have a significant impact on fall risk. The research highlights the importance of considering medication factors when assessing fall risk in hemodialysis patients. [Extracted from the article] |
