This article discusses two cases of unexplained chronic cough that were successfully treated with keishibukuryogan, a Kampo medicine known for its efficacy in addressing blood stasis. The first case involved a 52-year-old female with a persistent dry cough, while the second case involved a 76-year-old male with a chronic dry cough. Both patients showed significant improvement and resolution of their cough symptoms after treatment with keishibukuryogan. The article highlights the importance of considering blood stasis as a potential cause of chronic cough and suggests further research is needed to establish its prevalence.
