The article titled "The Use of Virtual Interviews in Orthopaedic Residency Programs and How It Affects Applicants" discusses the recent trend of virtual interviews in orthopaedic residency programs and its impact on applicants. The switch to virtual interviews was attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was found that applicants who attended a medical school affiliated with a strong orthopaedic residency program were more likely to match at their home program. However, virtual interviews have drawbacks, such as the inability to assess program compatibility and establish rapport with faculty.
