This article discusses the management of diplopia (double vision) in a patient with endometrial cancer who experienced chemotherapy toxicity. Endometrial cancer is a common gynecologic cancer that primarily affects postmenopausal women. Chemotherapy drugs used to treat endometrial cancer can have side effects on the visual system, including diplopia. The case report describes a patient who developed diplopia during chemotherapy treatment but was successfully managed with prismatic correction and in-home visual exercises. The article emphasizes the importance of recognizing and addressing potential side effects of chemotherapy to maintain a good quality of life for cancer patients. [Extracted from the article] |
