Abstrakt: This report explores the integration of non-traditional forms and means into physical education and sport in kindergarten and primary school settings. Traditional physical education often focuses on structured activities, but this study investigates the potential benefits of incorporating innovative approaches. It emphasizes that the use of modern forms and means in education is necessary to meet the interests of the new generation of children. Various non-traditional forms and means are presented, including active games with contemporary themes, dances, yoga, ladder ball, pétanque, Tabata, shuffleboard, frisbee, disc golf, mini golf, parachute games, flash mobs, cheerleading, shulback games, baton twirling, which not only promote physical activity, but also focus on learning through entertainment and experimentation. The report aims to highlight the importance of pedagogical specialists, who integrate various non-traditional forms and means into physical education and sports programs. The successful implementation of non-traditional educational approaches calls for support and investments in the educational system that promote innovation and flexibility in the physical education curriculum in kindergarten and primary school. Contemporary, non-traditional forms and means increase interest and motivation, thereby contributing to stimulation of healthy habits throughout life. The study employs a research design with mixed methods, combining quantitative measures such as physical fitness assessments and quality data from observations, interviews, and surveys. The research aims to identify effective, non-traditional strategies that enhance engagement, motivation, and overall learning outcomes in the context of physical education for children and students. The findings of this research contribute to the ongoing discourse on innovative pedagogical approaches in early childhood physical education. The implications of incorporating non-traditional forms and means may extend beyond the immediate educational setting, impacting the lifelong attitudes and habits of children towards physical activity and sports. As education continues to evolve, this study seeks to inform educators and parents about the potential benefits of embracing non-traditional methods to create a holistic and engaging physical education experience for the youngest.
