Abstrakt: A recent study conducted in South Gujarat, India, examined the coping patterns and psychosocial distress in adult patients with hemophilia. The study found that individuals with hemophilia often experience significant stress and have a high prevalence of psychiatric comorbidities. Approximately 41% of participants had depression, 26.92% had trait anxiety, and 69% had state-dependent anxiety. The study suggests that screening for psychological distress and analyzing coping styles should be a routine part of care for individuals with hemophilia. [Extracted from the article]
