Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at Mansoura University in Egypt explores the potential use of Fisetin-loaded Chitosan Oligosaccharide Nanoparticles (COS-TPP NPs) in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). Fisetin, a naturally occurring compound with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, has shown promise in ameliorating prostatic cancer. The researchers successfully prepared Fisetin-loaded COS-TPP NPs and conducted in vitro and in vivo evaluations. The results demonstrated the potential of this novel phytopharmaceutical delivery system in managing BPH. Further research is needed to explore its efficacy and safety. [Extracted from the article]
