Researchers at Sakai City Medical Center have released new data on the early detection of occupational cholangiocarcinoma, a form of cancer associated with exposure to organic solvents. The case study describes a 43-year-old man who had been working in a printing company for 15 years and was diagnosed with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. The patient underwent regular monitoring and imaging, which led to the detection and treatment of the cancer.
