Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at Hawler Medical University in Erbil City, Iraq, examined the effect of tracheostomy care training on the performance of nurses and physiotherapists in critical care units. Tracheostomy patients are at high risk for complications such as airway obstruction and infection, but skilled nursing care can help prevent these issues. The study found that nurses and physiotherapists who received progressive tracheostomy care training demonstrated significant improvements in their practice. The researchers concluded that efforts should be made to improve tracheostomy care in critical care units and establish management guidelines. [Extracted from the article]
