Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, explored the use of ultrawide-field fluorescein angiography (UWFFA) in patients with anterior uveitis. The study aimed to evaluate the detection of retinal vascular leakage (RVL) and its implications for disease diagnosis and management. The researchers reviewed the medical records of 63 patients who underwent UWFFA imaging and found that UWFFA was useful in detecting subclinical posterior involvement in patients with anterior uveitis. The study also noted that UWFFA results led to altered diagnoses and treatment approaches in some patients. This research has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
