Abstrakt: A recent study conducted in Ankara, Turkey, explored the potential effects of Taxifolin and Epirubicin on the treatment of breast cancer. The researchers examined the effects of these compounds individually and in combination on 4T1 breast cancer cells in vitro and in an allograft BALB/c model. The results showed that the coadministration of Taxifolin and Epirubicin reduced cell viability and cytotoxicity in the 4T1 cell lines and suppressed tumor growth in mice. Additionally, this combination treatment had positive effects on the expression of genes related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition. The study suggests that the concurrent use of Epirubicin with Taxifolin may be beneficial for breast cancer treatment. [Extracted from the article]
