Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, explored the integration of a Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) program into medical education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study found that the PMR program was well-received and effectively incorporated into the competency-based medical curricula. Feedback from participants indicated that the program helped mitigate stress during the pandemic. The researchers proposed the Integrative Psychological Resilience Model in Medical Practice (IPRMP), which highlights the role of PMR in fostering resilience among medical students. The study suggests that by incorporating advanced stress-management techniques like PMR, medical students can be better equipped to handle crises such as pandemics. [Extracted from the article]
