Abstrakt: This article, published in the Arab Journal of Interventional Radiology, examines the awareness of family physicians in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia about interventional radiology (IR). The study, which included 197 family physicians, found that only 34% of participants ranked their knowledge of vascular and interventional radiology as good to excellent. Additionally, the study revealed that many family physicians were unfamiliar with specific IR procedures. The authors suggest that more education about IR is needed to promote collaboration between family physicians and interventional radiologists. [Extracted from the article]
