Lieutenant General J.S. Sidana has assumed the position of Director General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (DG EME) and Senior Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME. With a career spanning over 38 years, he has held various important regimental, command, instructional, and staff appointments. Prior to his current role, he served as the Commandant of the Military College of EME for two years and has also held positions such as Master General of EME of HQ Central Command and commander of the Army Base Workshop and EME Centre. Lieutenant General Sidana is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy, and he holds academic credentials including a Masters in Management Studies, an M.Tech, and a Masters of Philosophy.
