Abstrakt: This article discusses a case study of a 23-year-old man with a rare bone tumor called giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB). The tumor was found in the left acetabulum and was initially diagnosed as H3.3 G35W-negative GCTB. However, further molecular analysis revealed a ZNF592::NUTM1 gene fusion, suggesting a new molecular subtype of GCTB. The patient was treated with denosumab and underwent surgical resection, and is currently disease-free. The study highlights the importance of molecular analysis in diagnosing and understanding rare tumors like GCTB. [Extracted from the article]
