Abstrakt: The document titled "521 Bringing UCSF Research Resources to Community Health Systems: CTSI Research Infrastructure Network (RIN)" discusses the expansion of the CTSI Research Infrastructure Network (RIN) to regional health systems in order to provide services to a diverse translational science community. The study conducted needs assessments at each site and identified common needs for research training, consultations in biostatistics/study design, and finding academic collaborators among community health systems with non-academic clinicians. The needs of sites with UCSF academic faculty differed and mainly included improved awareness and access to CTSI programs, ease of use of data extraction services, training programs, and assistance with regulatory approvals. The study emphasizes the importance of individualized support plans and a developing governance structure to facilitate collaboration and sharing of best practices across member sites.
