This document is an abstract from the Journal of Clinical & Translational Science. It includes summaries of three different research studies. The first study, called ACTIVATE, evaluated the impact of a community-engaged project on Latino farmworkers' acceptance of telehealth services. The second study explored the feasibility of using biomarkers to measure the effects of racism-based stress on African Americans' health. The third study examined the association between weight stigma and mental health symptoms following bariatric surgery. These studies highlight the importance of community engagement, addressing racism-based stress, and considering mental health challenges in healthcare interventions. [Extracted from the article] |
