Abstrakt: This article examines the internal factors that affect the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The study finds that MSMEs are important for the national economy and that their performance can be measured by increased sales. Internal factors such as finance, customers, internal business processes, learning, and growth are identified as determinants of MSME performance. The article also references previous research that highlights the positive influence of factors like business actor competence and marketing strategy creativity on MSME performance. The research aims to help MSMEs understand and improve their internal factors to optimize their business performance. The text also discusses the limited impact of certain internal factors on performance and the significant influence of external factors like coaching, training, and ease of accessing business permits. The use of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a measurement tool for performance is mentioned, as well as the role of technology, particularly digital marketing and financial technology (fintech), in improving MSME performance. Future research can focus on financial ratios and the impact of technology on MSME performance. [Extracted from the article]
