Inspection of industrial building load-bearing structures for defects.

Abstrakt: Structures with a significant service life are considered, the materials and structures of which need to be examined. Experimental studies were carried out in the compressor shop. The project documentation and the results of the measurement work were used. Visual inspection revealed the presence of defects and damages of the third and fourth categories at the facility. Additional instrumental research was required. With the help of the shock pulse method, the compressive strength grades of the walls of silicate and ceramic bricks, the grade of the brickwork mortar were determined. With the help of the necessary instruments, tests were carried out by a non-destructive method of testing the strength of concrete floor slabs, crossbars and columns. Concrete classes of structural elements were determined. The verification calculations were performed using computer calculations based on finite element calculation schemes, taking into account the strength characteristics of materials at the time of full-scale tests. It is established that the bearing capacity of the upper belt of the transverse truss of the compressor shop is not provided. When calculating the first and second groups of limit states, the bearing capacity of the building columns is provided. As a result, it was concluded that the technical condition of the compressor shop is unacceptable. The analysis carried out and the developed methodology can be used for testing by methods of non-destructive testing of materials and objects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
