The essence of the business process of verification of purchased products at an agricultural machine-building enterprise has determined. The role and place of the process of verification of purchased products in the quality management system have determined. A method for verifying materials and spare parts purchased for a machine-building enterprise has proposed, which includes three main stages: organoleptic control of parts and materials, verification of accompanying documents, such as invoices, a passport, a certificate, the presence of a brand of suppliers, manufacturing dates and compliance with the completeness according to the passport; the second stage - checking the quality characteristics of products and the third stage - checking the performance of the part after installation in the assembly unit. The optimal notation for describing the business process has been chosen and a model of the process of verification of purchased products for a machine-building enterprise in the BPMN notation has been developed.
