Abstrakt: This article discusses a study conducted in Japan on the management and treatment of acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding (ALGIB). The study aims to establish standardized criteria for determining the need for treatment and selecting the appropriate endoscopic treatment method based on factors such as the location, type, and cause of the bleeding. The research analyzes data from a large endoscopy dataset and evaluates the risk of rebleeding, the need for endoscopic treatment, and the choice of treatment based on these factors. The study provides valuable evidence for guiding the management of ALGIB and improving patient outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
