A recent study conducted by researchers at Kyung Hee University in South Korea examined the effects of sugar-free jelly on glycemic metabolism and its potential health benefits in non-diabetic adults. The study found that substituting sugar jelly with sugar-free jelly resulted in lower blood glucose and insulin levels, higher glucagon levels, and no stimulation of appetite. The research suggests that consuming sugar-free jelly may be beneficial for controlling glucose metabolism. The study used a double-blind, crossover design and collected blood samples to measure various hormone levels. [Extracted from the article] |
