Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University aimed to compare the biaxial flexural strength (BFS) and Vickers hardness (VHN) of permanent composite-based restorative materials before and after thermal aging. The study involved 200 specimens made from various materials, including subtractive and additive composite-based blocks, as well as a feldspathic glass-matrix ceramic block. The results showed that 3D printed and milled composite groups had higher BFS than feldspathic ceramics, and the 3D resin groups had the lowest VHN values. Additionally, the study found that thermal cycling did not affect the BFS or VHN values. [Extracted from the article]
